Epilog Helix 24 Laser:
The
Helix's generous 24" x 18" x 8.5" (610 x 457 x 215.9 mm) work area allows us to cut and/or engrave multiple pieces as well as thicker materials,
including boxes, bottles & vases, and personal electronics such as laptops & tablets, iPads & IPhones, etc.
We are proud to say that our Epilog Laser System is completely designed and built here in the U.S.A.
Rotary Attachment for Cylindrical Items:
The Epilog Rotary Attachment adds the ability to
engrave bottles, glasses, flashlights, and other round and/or cylindrical items. Specially
designed for our Helix laser, it has been built to
accommodate a large variety of shapes and sizes. The attachment easily
adjusts for different lengths and will even rotate objects that have
different diameters on each end.
Advantages of Laser Cutting
- The laser
creates a beam of light that is used to cut through the material, so there
is no part of the laser system in contact with the material.
- The laser
includes an Integrated Vacuum Table to hold down thinner materials such as
paper, fabric, and film plastics when cutting through the material.
- The laser
system is amazingly precise, following the pattern created on the computer
screen.
- It allows
efficiency and repeatability when cutting multiple patterns from the same
type or piece of material.
Advantages of Laser Engraving
- The laser
uses a beam of light as the engraving tool, so no part of the machinery
actually touches the material being engraved.
- No need
for a special system to hold down the engraving material.
- Laser
engraving produces a permanent, crisp, highly detailed mark, engraving
images up to 1200 dots per inch.
- The
engraving quality is unmatched for reproducing graphics.
- Lasers
provide an extremely fast way to customize your items. With a laser
system, if you want to engrave multiple pieces, we can create a jig to
hold the items in place, put the jig in the laser, and engrave as many
pieces as we can fit on the engraving table.
